Fireside Chat with Jen Flory, Principal Consultant for the California State Senate Committee on Health: IHPS Health Policy Skills Webinar Series

Jen Flory is a Principal Consultant for the California State Senate Committee on Health where she analyzes legislation on Medi-Cal and health equity and advises staff and members on health policy. She previously spent over a decade as a health attorney and policy advocate at the Western Center on Law & Poverty. While there she drafted and lobbied bills expanding access to Medi-Cal and addressing medical debt and health disparities, work that led to the enactment of multiple new laws. She also has experience in impact litigation, legal aid, and administrative advocacy, including previous stakeholder advisory roles at Covered California, the Department of Health Care Services, and the Department of Managed Health Care.
