Overview
Danea Horn is a researcher in the Center for Translational and Policy Research on Precision Medicine (TRANSPERS) at UCSF. After earning my PhD from the University of California, Davis, she was a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University studying health policy and innovation. In 2013, Danea's book, Chronic Resilience, was published. It is a personal examination of the patient experience. She told stories of resilience that demonstrated how seemingly individual experiences with the health care system are fundamentally connected. Danea's research now focuses on health technology, information, and resource constraints.
